From Maumee High to a painting company of his own

Here is how Nate trained, what he saw on other crews’ jobs, and what he decided to do differently when he put his own name on the work.

  1. Maumee High School

Nate graduated from Maumee High School. Olympus Painting is still based in Maumee, Ohio.

  2. A foundation in construction

He later studied construction, where he developed a strong technical foundation in the trade: how a wall is built, how surfaces move, and why a coating only lasts if what sits under it is sound.

  3. Years of hands-on painting

After gaining years of hands-on experience in the painting industry, he saw how often projects were rushed or completed without the level of care they deserved.

  4. A different approach

That experience led him to start Olympus Painting: proper preparation, quality materials, and taking the time to do the job right.
