Industrial & Warehouse Painting

Warehouses, factories and industrial facilities, planned around the work going on inside them.

Chapter 01

What goes wrong when a warehouse is painted around a working floor?

Warehouse paint fails in a few predictable ways. A coat goes onto dusty high walls and lets go within a season. Steel columns get a fast pass over loose scale and start to peel at the edges. The worst version is the job that stops the floor, with forklifts rerouted and shipments held while a crew works in the middle of the building.

Olympus Painting plans around all of that. The picture here is an illustration of the kind of space, a repainted warehouse with white walls and safety-banded columns, not one of Nate's jobs. The real starting point is a walk-through of your building in Maumee, Toledo or Perrysburg, where the dock doors, racking and traffic lanes decide what gets painted first.

How is a large industrial interior scoped and phased?

Scope comes first. Walls, steel, columns and overhead areas are each looked at separately, because a coating that suits a block wall is not automatically right for a steel column. Surface preparation is planned for each one: cleaning off dust and residue, taking off loose or failing coating, and repairing damage before any new coat goes on.

Phasing follows the work inside the building. One bay is painted while the next keeps running, and evenings or weekends are used when the operation cannot give up space during the day. Each phase goes into the plan, so a shift supervisor knows which aisle is closed, on which day, and for how long.

Chapter 03

Can one contractor take on a multi-phase factory job?

Yes. Olympus Painting handles large and multi-phase jobs, from warehouses to factories and other industrial facilities. A bigger building does not change the method. It adds more phases and more coordination, which is why the sequence is written out in advance instead of being left to a phone call halfway through the job.

The estimate, timeline and scope are outlined in writing before anyone mobilizes, and Olympus Painting LLC is fully insured. If you manage a building and want to talk it through, Nate takes calls at (419) 283-1282, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 7PM, and can walk the space with you first.
