High Performance Industrial Coatings
High performance coatings for durability and chemical resistance, planned in writing around your building's working hours.
Chapter 01
Why does ordinary wall paint give up on a working floor?
Wall paint is made to look good on a bedroom wall. Put it where carts scuff the lower walls, hoses and cleaners splash the columns, and damp creeps up from the slab, and the film starts wearing through long before anyone planned to repaint.
High performance industrial coatings are made for exactly those surfaces. They are chosen for durability and chemical resistance, so they stand up to abrasion, wash-downs and moisture that finish a standard coat early. Nate Schwamberger at Olympus Painting starts by asking what the surface actually faces day to day.

What happens to the surface before any coating goes on?
A coating can only hold as well as the surface under it. Dust, oil, old failing paint and loose material all get in the way, so the substrate is cleaned and profiled first, with the method matched to what it is: concrete, steel, block or an existing painted wall.
Each system also has its own way of being applied, with a set film build and a set number of coats. Those steps are followed as written for the system chosen, not trimmed to save a day. That is the same no-shortcuts rule Olympus applies on every job around Maumee and Toledo.
Chapter 03
When can the area go back into service?
Industrial coatings need time to cure before they take traffic, washing or chemicals, and that window belongs in the plan from the start. The return-to-service timing is worked out with you before the first coat, so nobody finds out on the day that a lane has to stay closed.
Scope, timeline and estimate are all outlined in writing. Work can run in evenings or weekends to protect your operating hours, large jobs can be split into phases, and Olympus is fully insured. To talk through a facility, call (419) 283-1282, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 7PM.
